2010 OLYMPISWhistler Olympic Park trails system is composed of 27 trails including 11 beginner trails, 12 intermediate trails and 4 expert trails for a total of 56km. The park has 6 kilometres of lit trails and approximately 5 kilometres of roller ski trails used in the summer. Trails are typically 2 way and groomed for both classic and skate techniques and selected trails are available for use with your dog. In addition to groomed ski trails there are numerous instructional areas including the primary instructional facility ideally located adjacent to the Day Lodge and rental shop on flat and forgiving terrain. The three sport stadiums and a ski play area provide more terrain for practicing skills or just enjoying a sunny day.

MUNICIPALITY OF WHISTLERThe Resort Municipality of Whistler is a community of 10,531 permanent residents, according to the 2006 Canada census. There are 2,266 seasonal residents, 11,522 second-home owners and 28,289 daily population. There are currently 15,216 assessed properties in Whistler. Scheduled bus service runs from Vancouver and Vancouver Airport to Whistler approximately seven times daily. Whistler is also served by regular float plane service and has a heliport. The drive from Seattle to Whistler is approximately 5 hours.
